Cold Forming parts

Cold Forming is a process for shaping metal alloys at room temperature. At Aries Manufacturing, we produce complex structural parts using FEV technology, a process renowned for its precision and control over deformation.

This process involves forming a metal profile by bending and stretching it as it is rolled around a bending tool, while applying controlled traction. The machine’s two arms, equipped with six independent axes, and the central table ensure uniform deformation of the metal and precise control over the geometries.

During this process, the thickness of the material is reduced in proportion to the elongation undergone, allowing the final shape to be achieved with the precision and repeatability expected by your plans. The result: perfectly compliant parts, short production cycles (approximately ten minutes) with very little springback and reduced internal stresses.

This technology is ideal for producing high-precision parts, particularly in sectors where lightness, reliability, and repeatability are essential.
